It’s happening this coming Saturday morning (oh, yeah… groan). This SMU* student is organising a social media breakfast.
The main objective, from what I understand is to bring like-minded people together, who are in the social media scene (that is, if you use youtube, flickr, facebook, or blog/podcast etc).
What I find really interesting is the idea of personal tagging (as explained by Jeff Pulver). I wonder if this concept can be understood by non-social media people (social mediums? social mediatites? socialmediaporeans? hmm.. I actually like the last one). The other thing is whether it could work for my branch’s networking and sharing sessions for NE practitioners.
I wonder if Ivan the RL is going for this. The facebook event page is here.
Oh, the event is BYOB (Bring Your Own Breakfast).
P.S. This is the first time I’m attempting a trackback… so cross my fingers and hope it works!
*SMU = Singapore Management University
